A Wedding, The Carpenter, The Super Bowl, and The World

Greetings to all. Thanks for joining me in this new spiritual endeavor titled “The Carpenter from Nazareth.”

Why this blog? Why this title? Well, if you’ve ever sat down to write, whether a blog, a book, a newsletter, or even a simple letter in an email to a friend, you have to be motivated to do that.

Those who know me know I’m a believer in the Christ, the God/man, Yeshua bar Yosef, Jesus–The Carpenter from Nazareth. As I stated on my Home page on this website, I feel compelled to show believers and non-believers alike, the humanness of the Carpenter is as important as his Divineness.

Why? Because if He wasn’t human, then our belief in Him is totally in vain. If he weren’t human, then the atheist would be more correct in their non-beliefs. You see, it is because of His human nature that makes the Christ believable.

Think of all that is believable in world history. Why do we know that the works of Plato and Aristotle are real?  Because other students of philosophy from that era, in the 400s and 300s B.C., kept their oral and written words and passed them on to future generations.
